  • Improved Movements. Your character will now be able to peek around corner without putting his/her whole body into risk. You can also throw a Frag Grenade or Flashbang with either the right or left arm in this position. There are also crouching movements. You can now move in a slow duck-walk or in fast, hunched-over run.

  • Different weapons have different zoom sizes. No longer will you be able to sniper in with any weapon. The zoom is now modeled much more realistically. An MP5 will zoom about as much as a pistol in Rainbow Six.

  • When you finished your mission you can run a cinematic replay. This will help you see what went wrong. You can watch what everyone did and how they did it at different angles.

  • More Sounds. The terrorists now panic out load and speak Russian. Sound effects like rain and water give you a more realistic feel.

  • Once you beat a mission, you can go back to it in two different modes: Terrorist Hunt and Lone Wolf. In Terrorist Hunt, you and your team will have to kill 30 terrorists on the map. Lone Wolf is basically the same, but your on your own, no help from the good guys.

  • Easier kit selection. Assign single weapons or a whole kit to a operative more easily. You can also save your favorite kits.

  • New Kit Items includes Binoculars. This will definably help you see what ahead before storming in. These will also make a interesting multi-player item.

  • More Control Over Team-mates. You can now tell all your teams to halt or advance during the game. There will also be keyboard command that enable you to command team-mates to throw a frag, or breach a door.

  • Observer mode that enables you to watch what your team-mates are doing during the game.

  • A Four Map Mode will enable you to change your status bar into a different mode. In this mode you will get four small maps that overviews what your other teams are doing.

  • Mission Editor. Lets you change anything in the game except the basic geometry and textures. Mod out weapons and maps with ease.

  • Improved Planning Screen. New waypoint orders include snipe, cover, and defend. New modes include assault, infiltrate, recon and escort. The best new feature to the planning screen is the fully textured 3-D view. This new 3-D view allows you to see the mission as if you were and eye in the sky on the map.

  • More options for the game. Choose a path where your maps are stored. More flexibility with graphic options. More sound options.

  • Improved Victory Condition Reporting. You will now be notified in the game if any actions are taking place that might affect the outcome the mission's success. The End-Level Screens have also been improved for both multi-player and single-player. There is also a new statistics-filled waiting screen in multi-player for player that are entering a game that's in progress.

  • Choose any weapon featured in the game in multi-player. This includes terrorist-used weapons like the AK-47.

  • Macros will be available in multi-player. Send quick messages using one simple keystroke.

  • New multi-player only items. Items include: Smoke Grenades, HBS Jammers, False HB Pucks, SA HBS, SA HBS Jammer, and C4 Explosives.

  • Clan Members can customize a patch on their team's uniforms to stop the annoying Friendly Fire.

  • Host can lock teams so that people can't change team while play in adversarial. Host can also force weather effects on all the players so that everyone has the same effects and the game is played fairly, unlike in Rainbow Six where you can have an advantage by turning off fog effects.

  • In-game Pings status. You can see what your ping is to the server and other players in the server.

  • In the mini-map, the players will have an ID on them. You will now be able to see who your coming up to or which teammate your following by looking at their ID on the mini-map.

  • Multiple Insertion Zones for all the maps. You may choose to play a random insertion zone or choose a specific one for the map you are playing on. We will update on any new features announced and correct any features that might be changed.
