Sputnik Satellite's Weapon Mod Rogue_Gun 8:30pm (UK time)
Sputnik has released verion 6.0 of his Sputnik Satellite's Weapon Mod. This version of his mod is specifically for Urban Operations. This new version includes 29 new primary weapons and 9 new secondary weapons. For more information, check out Sputnick Satellite's Rogue Spear Weapon Mods web site.

First of all, Rodion has put together another patch for TTT v2.0. Here is an excerpt from the ReadME file, explaining it. This is the second TTT Patch. It addresses some TTTv2.0 SINGLE-PLAYER problems/issues. It does the following:

1. Adds magazine pics for all TTT Weapons *only* (SS Weapon magazine pics later)

2. Fixes the crash (or "frozen" operative) bug when using the three new Urban Operations skins in the four TTT missions.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. You must have Rogue Spear, and the Urban Operations Mission Pack.
2. You must have already installed my TTTv2.0 (MP), TTTv2.0 Patch-1, and the TTTv2.0 Mission Pack mods into Rogue Spear/Urban Operations.
Secondly, he has also released a mod called "Rodion's Replacements". Basically, it improves the in-game models, sounds, and picture for Rogue Spear and Urban Operations weapons. It doesn't add anything, just makes the current ones better. He used some of Sputnik Satellite's models in the mod, also.

Covert Ops is pretty much what we have already learned. It is a 2 cd set that uses the Rogue Spear engine to blend a wealth of tactical information with actual gameplay to complement the strategy you have just read about. RSE isn't showing off any of the levels at E3 and are just showing off the interface and the various information. A cool tidbit that I learned is that you will be able to play multiplayer with other people who have Covert Ops as well. It also doesn't require Rogue Spear to play.

Two other titles from RSE looking very promising are BANG and Freedom. Bang is a fast paced space shooter created by the French that has awesome eye-candy remenicsent of Rage's Incoming. The other sweet title was Freedom. This 3rd person game is built from the RS engine (using approx. 40% of it) and looks absolutely beautiful. The camera work for the third person view is great and the engine even features improvements such as mirrors! We have a lot to expect for the next engine in the R6 series :-)

It appears that a lot of the RSE team from RS are now working on an undisclosed Playstation 2 title. Carl Schnuur, producer for Rogue Spear, is now working on this title so expect to hear some news on it soon.

Rodion has released version 2.0 of The Temporary Tango Mod. This version of the mod is for Urban Operations only. It is split up into three 'modules', or parts, that can each be activated seperatly. Rodion also released a patch for TTT v2.00, which you can download here (it fixes/adds a few things).
