Background: A group of Egyptian extremists have stormed the Museum of Art in New York City during the opening festivities of a new exhibition of Egyptian Antiques.
Difficulty: Easy

Objectives: Rescue All Hostages.

Blueprints (1st Level, 2st Level)

Mission Planning: You will not need more than two teams of two to finish this mission. Give your roster four assault operatives (no need for any snipers or anything else). For the mission load out, give everyone a silenced primary (UMP-45 SD, MP5 SD5, MP5/10 SD) and a silenced secondary. You will not need any heartbeat sensor due to the fact that the outside of the building has been set up with heartbeat sensors to help you. For you items, choose flashbangs and primary magazines, since the only thing you should be using in this mission are your bullets (and maybe a flashbang, up to you). Assign this to all your operatives for the ultimate silenced operation. Now put two of your men on blue, and the other two on red. You want to be able to set up an assault entrance to the room that the hostages are being, having the blue team take the door closest to the front of the building, and having the red team take the entrance in the hall. Give this position an Alpha Go-Code. Then have both teams, rush in towards the hostages. From there, give a Escort ROE and take them to the Extraction Zone.

Execution: When you start off, as soon as you get on the steps, hostage will come towards you, just ignore him. As soon as you enter the building, take a right and move through the bathroom area. When you get out of the bathroom door, go straight and take a right into a hall that splits two way, from there, go right and stop. There is a terrorist waiting to kill you on the other side of that room, what you want to do slowly start peeking around the corner and as soon as you see him, spray about 10 bullets at him. Now run over to the other end of the room, hanging right. At the other end, there is a entrance to the next room.

But here is where different things can happen. What you want to do now is check your map in the lower-left hand corner. Now look at the room where the hostages are, and see if there is a terrorist outside of the room (which there sometimes is). If there is, you'll want to rush at him using the poles in the room for cover, and when you get close, strafe out to the left and spray him (this has to be done very quickly). When he's dead, duck down against the wall facing the room with the hostages, and your gun ready to fire.

If no one is outside the room with the hostages, simply go straight to ducking next to the wall in the same manner. Now all you have to do is let your red team catch up and get in position. While they're doing this, be on your guard, because sometimes a terrorist may come walking out right in front of you from the hostage room (this is why you duck down and get ready to fire). If this does happen, simply kill him.

Now back to the red team: sometimes, the red team will be attacked by a tango. If this happens, you're out of luck (because as the blue team, you can't go save them), but the AI in this game is pretty good and most of the time, they will kill this tango.

Once their in position, give the Alpha Go-Code. Now this is the point of the mission that decides it all in a matter of seconds. When you give the Alpha, as the blue team, you have two choices. After giving the alpha, you can storm in and take out any terrorists in the hostage room, or you can throw in a flashbang, neutralize them for a couple seconds, and than storm in. The only problem with flashbanging this room, is that if the flashbang executes too closely to a hostage, that hostage will be killed and you will have lost the mission; so I recommend that you just storm in right away. The red team will also storm in taking out anyone ahead of them. Now that all the terrorists here are dead, wait for your red team to catch up to you and come into the hostage room.

Now set your ROE Mode to Escort if you haven't already does this in the mission planning. Make your way back outside to the front of the building. Now the guy we left standing at the beginning of the mission, You will now walk toward him (in Escort ROE) and take him with you.
